Payrate: $62/hr
Duration: 13 Weeks Contract
Guaranteed Hours: 40
Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing cardiovascular operating rooms for surgical procedures.
- Set up, maintain, and operate specialized surgical equipment.
- Anticipate surgeons' needs during procedures and provide necessary instruments and supplies.
- Maintain a sterile field throughout the surgical procedure.
- Collaborate with surgical team members to ensure efficient and safe patient care.
- Assist in patient positioning and preparation for surgery.
- Document procedures and maintain accurate surgical records.
Requirements:
- Certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Certified Cardiovascular Technologist (CCT).
- Experience working specifically in cardiovascular surgical procedures preferred.
- Proficiency in operating room protocols and surgical instrumentation.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced surgical environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
