We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Credit Controller to join our team at Reed Accountancy Reading. As a Credit Controller, you will play a crucial role in managing our clients' financial relationships and ensuring timely payments.
Key Responsibilities- Post and manage cash transactions, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records
- Manage a portfolio of full-service clients, providing exceptional customer service and resolving any issues that may arise
- Chase outstanding debts through proactive communication and negotiation
- Perform regular sales ledger reviews to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Verify debts and agree repayment plans with clients as needed
- Recommend accounts for solicitors where necessary
- Communicate regularly with clients and provide written updates on any issues that may arise
- Ensure client queries are addressed and resolved in a timely and effective manner
- A competitive salary and benefits package, including 25 days annual leave and a company pension contribution of 7%
- A hybrid working model, with 4 days in the office and 1 day from home
- Discretionary company bonus scheme of up to 10%
- Private medical cover, including spouse/partner
To be successful in this role, you will need to have previous experience in credit control or a related field, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills.
