About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician to join our team at Amazon UK Services Ltd. in Daventry, UK.

As a Senior Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and reliability of our equipment and systems, and for providing high levels of equipment availability to our internal customers.

You will work closely with our maintenance teams to identify and resolve equipment issues, and to implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize our maintenance processes.

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong technical skills, excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure safety regulations and policies are adhered to, and that preventative maintenance is conducted on time to a high standard.
  • Provide high levels of equipment availability to our internal customers through continuous improvement and troubleshooting.
  • Work closely with maintenance teams to identify and resolve equipment issues.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize maintenance processes.
  • Develop and maintain a good working relationship across all levels in the organization.
  • Manage contractors and ensure that all work is carried out to a high standard.
Requirements
  • Served a full engineering indentured apprenticeship and/or qualified to a minimum of NVQ level 3 or equivalent.
  • Multi-skilled in both electrical and mechanical disciplines with relevant experience in automation or complex MHE environments.
  • Solid foundational knowledge of PLC-based controls systems.
  • Experience using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) to plan proactive maintenance and record reactive tasks.
  • Knowledge of Statutory Compliance requirements.
  • Ability to communicate (written & verbal) in English.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proven ability to supervise and influence others on the team.
  • Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize many different projects and workload.
  • Experience of multi-contractor management.
  • Experience with the Infor EAM (Enterprise asset management) platform.
  • Experience rolling out a new CMMS system.
  • Experience delivering training or coaching others.
