Supply Chain Manager

Reporting to the Operations Director, the Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overseeing all procurement, warehouse, and inventory control activities at the Cumbernauld site.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement effective forecasting and material planning strategies to ensure timely procurement of materials.
- Manage a team of procurement professionals to ensure accurate and on-time replenishment of materials to forecasted and actual demand.
- Collaborate with the HR department to recruit, promote, and develop team members.
- Drive cost-saving initiatives and implement processes for risk management and mitigation in procurement activity.
- Lead change and improvement initiatives, including Kaizen events and spot problem-solving.
- Develop and maintain accurate inventory management systems and reports for senior management.
- Significant prior experience in leading procurement activity within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Experience in managing a team of procurement professionals.
- Excellent planning and analytical skills.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Packages.
