About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled BIM Technician to join our team at Johnson Controls. As a BIM Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting the development of our BIM and design departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide real-time support and assistance in the effective delivery of BIM in design and construction projects across the fire suppression business.
  • Create detailed 2D drawings (CAD) and 3D models (Revit) to support project delivery.
  • Collaborate closely with our project and engineering teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Lead and implement ISO19650 standards in the design and delivery process to maintain high standards of quality and efficiency.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years' relevant experience in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) Building Information Management and Revit on a variety of design and construction projects.
  • Familiarity with the PAS/ISO suite of standards.
  • Autodesk certified - Revit, Navisworks, COBie.
  • 3 years industry experience in fire suppression and/or building services modeling.
  • Knowledge and understanding of BIM Level 2 standards.
