Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Advisor to join our team at Winemark in East Belfast. As a Sales Advisor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting with sales, and maintaining a high level of store standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Assist with sales, identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products.
  • Maintain a high level of store standards, including housekeeping, stock control, and merchandising.
  • Assist with promotional set up and ensure that the premises are safe and secure at all times.
  • Comply with company regulations regarding cash handling and administration.
  • Comply with all health and safety information and ensure compliance with all licensing and trading standards legislation.

Requirements:

  • Maths and English GCSE Grade C or above or equivalent.
  • Three months previous experience in a retail environment.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Able to work in a team environment and maintain a positive attitude.

Desirable:

  • WSET Foundation Certificate.
  • Interest and/or knowledge of wine.
  • Previous experience of cash handling and stock handling and control.
