About the Role
As a Fraud Prevention Analyst, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding both The Very Group and our customers from fraudulent activities. You will be responsible for managing incoming responses related to fraud checks and investigating any suspicious activity on customer accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and investigate potentially fraudulent activities on new applications and existing accounts, adhering to internal and external guidelines.
- Handle inbound communications from customers reporting fraud or referring suspicious orders.
- Conduct investigations into potential anti-money laundering activities using established industry practices.
- Proactively address emerging fraud trends and behaviors through effective feedback mechanisms.
- Escalate issues to the Team Manager only when necessary, adhering to prescribed limits of authority.
