Core Responsibilities:
• Overseeing and strategizing the internal audit processes for a diverse range of high-profile clients across various sectors, including public entities, educational institutions, charitable organizations, and private businesses, while providing robust support to directors and partners.
• Evaluating audit projects and delivering technical advice to both clients and team members as required, while supervising and mentoring audit assignments.
• Leading, coaching, and developing internal audit personnel, with a focus on supporting trainees and newly qualified professionals.
• Contributing to the growth of the department through the creation of tender documents and engaging in other business development initiatives.
• Managing the departmental team and overseeing administrative functions within the department.
The Ideal Candidate:
• Professionally qualified with credentials such as CIA, CMIIA, CA, ACA, or ACCA.
• Extensive experience in internal auditing.
• Strong understanding of Internal Audit Standards.
• Proven track record in business development activities.
• Excellent communication skills, demonstrating confidence and professionalism.
• Established capability in people management.
