Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Accounts Assistant to join our Finance team at Sarah Raven. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing financial support and assistance to the Accountant & Finance Director.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow
  • Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns
  • Conduct stock reconciliations and maintain accurate records
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting, including variance analysis
  • Support the preparation of Management Accounts and assist with year-end audit work
  • Provide financial guidance and answer queries from staff
  • Undertake ad-hoc reporting and projects as required

Requirements:

  • Excellent knowledge and experience with Excel
  • Confident in using computers and software
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics an advantage
