Occupational Therapist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in the Integrated Reablement Service, working within adult social care in Tower Hamlets.

This is a locum opportunity with an initial 3-month contract, with the possibility of extension.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and directing rehabilitation programs for service users in the community, collaborating with Reablement Officers to deliver reabling care, and focusing on preventing, reducing, or delaying the development of long-term care needs.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), and a minimum of 2 years' experience as a qualified OT.

We offer a competitive hourly rate of £35.45p/h (umbrella) and a flexible working arrangement, with Monday to Friday working and the possibility of remote working.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a varied caseload, including hospital discharges and community referrals.
  • Apply casework and physical rehabilitation skills in a busy environment.
  • Work within a strong, supportive team with access to excellent clinical support.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a qualified OT.
