About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health and Safety Support professional to join our team at Saputo Dairy UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the HSE Manager in ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with site teams to promote a culture of safety and well-being, and to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Develop and implement safety procedures and protocols to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Conduct regular site audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on health and safety procedures and protocols.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a health and safety role, preferably in a manufacturing or food processing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and standards, including OSHA and ISO 45001.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels.
  • Ability to analyze data and identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective solutions.
