Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure/VMware Solutions Engineer to join our team at Damia Group Ltd. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining large-scale virtualized environments using VMware technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and build target environments based on processing, storage, and network requirements captured by the project team, under the guidance of a Technical Lead.
  • Lead the design and implementation of the Linux components within the platform, including the management solution for Linux systems and the Linux VDI solutions provided to end users.
  • Develop and maintain VMware ESXi environments, including configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Design and implement vCenter and vROps solutions to monitor and manage virtualized environments.
  • Implement MS SCCM solutions for software deployment and management.
  • Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks for automation and configuration management.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of VMware ESXi, vCenter, and vROps.
  • Experience with Linux systems and scripting languages such as Bash and Python.
  • Knowledge of MS SCCM and Ansible.
  • Ability to design and implement secure working practices.
  • Experience with software-defined networking.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with cloud infrastructure and virtualization.
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker.
  • Experience with DevOps practices and tools such as Jenkins and Git.
