Job Title: Grinder

Major Recruitment Newcastle is seeking a skilled Grinder for our client based in Gateshead. This is a full-time, permanent position for the right candidate.

Duties:
  • Grinding heavy duty large cylinder type products
  • Working to very tight tolerances
  • Meeting deadlines
  • Undertaking metal spraying of cylinders as required
Working Hours and Pay:

Monday to Thursday, 30am till 5.15pm, with flexible start and finish times. The annual salary is £36,194.92, with time and a third Friday, time and a half Saturday, and overtime available as needed.

Requirements:
  • Time served cylindrical/surface grinders
  • Experience with Robbi, Proth Surface, William Watts, and Churchill grinding machines
  • Excellent eye for detail
