We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team at Turner & Townsend Group. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading project management commissions, ensuring end-to-end service delivery, and acting as the key client interface.
Key Responsibilities- Lead project management commissions, taking responsibility for end-to-end service delivery.
- Act as the key client interface, ensuring client objectives are met and projects are delivered to time and cost targets.
- Manage project planning, including ensuring the production of detailed project plans.
- Advising on the procurement of resources and leading the establishment of effective project governance, processes, and systems.
- Monitor and apply performance management techniques, including the use of KPIs to improve project performance.
- Manage the change control process and monitor project finances.
- Ensure the production of formal project progress and other reports.
- Take a leading role in interfacing with clients and other consultants at all project stages.
- Develop new business opportunities with existing and new Turner & Townsend clients.
- Identify and act upon cross-selling opportunities.
- Work with Associate Directors and Directors to construct bids for new work.
- Attend formal client pitches with Assistant Directors and Directors.
- Staff management, including inputting into the formal management of an Assistant Project Manager or small project management team.
- Knowledge management, ensuring that key information and learning generated from each project is input into the Turner & Townsend internal database.
- Financial management, ensuring prompt client invoicing and utilizing FMS to monitor a project's financial status.
- Process improvement, identifying and acting upon ways to improve internal systems and processes.
- Degree qualified in a relevant discipline.
- Professionally qualified (MCIOB/APM or similar).
- Proven experience managing Real Estate projects, ideally in a consultancy environment.
- Ability to successfully manage and prioritize more than one project at a time.
