Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Embedded Software Specialist to join our team at Newton Colmore Consulting Ltd. As an Embedded Software Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting in the development of innovative technologies that enhance the defence and safety of the UK.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a growing and technologically advanced Defence company based in the UK. You will be part of a multi-discipline division, collaborating with mechanical engineers, software engineers, electronics engineers, physicists, and other industry professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement Embedded C software solutions for Defence systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop innovative technologies
  • Contribute to the development of complex software systems using C, C++, MATLAB, or other software languages
  • Work closely with senior engineers to ensure the successful delivery of projects
  • Participate in the development of new technologies and contribute to the growth of the company

Requirements

  • Proven experience in Embedded Software development, specifically in Embedded C
  • Strong understanding of software development principles and methodologies
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to obtain security clearance
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
