POSITION OVERVIEW

In light of their continued success, they are seeking an Operations Manager to join their team, responsible for the execution of a series of exhibitions throughout the year.

This multifaceted role encompasses:

  • Delivering high-caliber events within established budgets and timelines
  • Overseeing the technical execution of all events
  • Managing and enforcing internal and external Service Level Agreements
  • Budget oversight and management
  • Negotiating with vendors to secure optimal pricing without sacrificing quality
  • Project planning and scheduling
  • Ensuring health and safety standards are met during events
  • Drafting Risk Assessments and Fire Risk Assessments for events
  • Designing and producing all feature areas
  • Coordinating with contractors, suppliers, and exhibitors
  • Conducting post-event evaluations and reporting
  • Daily collaboration with internal event teams
  • Managing and updating floor plans and online technical manuals
  • Ensuring all sponsorship and contra agreements are fulfilled
  • Independently managing events on-site or with support from the Operations Coordinator/Executive

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Applicants should possess relevant experience in an exhibition environment, demonstrating a proven track record of managing exhibitions from inception to completion. Candidates must be client-facing and would benefit from experience in floor plan management, alongside strong budget management capabilities.
