Job Summary:

Semco Maritime is seeking a highly skilled Senior Planning Engineer to join our team as a Project Controls Specialist. This role will be responsible for overseeing all planning functions within the Engineering and Construction (E&C) Department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Project Managers to create and update EPC plans, ensuring accurate and timely execution.
  • Liaise with Asset Planners to ensure construction activities, including vendor resources, are correctly incorporated into asset plans.
  • Provide the latest forecast dates to the Cost Engineer, ensuring seamless integration with financial planning.
  • Work closely with Procurement to capture the latest procurement dates, ensuring accurate planning and execution.
  • Review and verify PSR from the supply chain, ensuring correct dates are reported and reflected in plans.
  • Develop and maintain Manpower Histograms and Productivity Reports, identifying potential resourcing issues and opportunities for improvement.
  • Perform other planning tasks as requested by Project Managers or the Project Controls Lead, ensuring the successful delivery of E&C projects.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience in a similar role.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a planning position, with a strong understanding of project controls and EPC planning.
  • HNC/HND or equivalent qualification in a relevant field.
  • Fluency in English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Primavera 6, with experience in planning and scheduling software.
