Job Title: School Meal Cover Operative

We are seeking a competent and flexible individual to join our team as a School Meal Cover Operative. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing meal heating relief for absent staff and conducting audits in schools as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load prepackaged school meals into ovens and heat them to specific temperatures according to HACCP guidelines.
  • Unload ovens and distribute lunches to classrooms.
  • Ensure adequate stock levels and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Follow and maintain work and cleaning schedules, as well as temperature and cleaning records.
  • Participate in HACCP and Manual Handling Training.
Requirements:
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to read English and follow instructions.
  • Own transport and ability to obtain Garda Vetting.
