About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and talented Head Chef to join our culinary team at The Aspinall Arms. As the Head Chef, you will play a pivotal role in menu development, kitchen management, and maintaining the highest standards of food quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement seasonal menus in collaboration with our Executive Chefs
  • Manage kitchen operations, ensuring efficient and effective use of resources
  • Maintain a high level of food quality and presentation, adhering to health and safety standards
  • Lead and motivate a team of chefs, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment
  • Collaborate with the pub manager to drive business growth and achieve sales targets

  • A competitive salary up to £44,000 per annum, plus Tronc (card tips paid into your bank)

Requirements
  • Experience as a Head Chef, Chef Manager, Kitchen Manager, or Senior Sous Chef in a busy, premium fresh food environment
  • Excellent business acumen, with the ability to manage stock, GPs, and labour controls
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to nurture a team and create an inclusive and supportive environment
