We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our team at Appoint Healthcare, working with an independent provider of health and care services for young adults with mental health needs and learning disabilities.

About the Role

As a Registered Mental Health Nurse, you will be responsible for ensuring the high-quality care of younger adults in our community 7-bedded service based in Nottingham. You will work closely with colleagues to promote positive teamwork and support adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs, and challenging behaviors.

Requirements
  • A relevant nursing qualification - Registered Mental Health Nurse or Registered Learning Disability Nurse (RMN or RNLD)
  • A valid NMC registration with no restrictions
  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK
  • A minimum of five years of learning disability/autism/mental health/community/NHS or private experience
  • Strong team-working skills
  • A high level of self-motivation and a flexible approach
  • A positive attitude and be naturally caring and compassionate
  • A commitment to high-quality care and to values and evidence-based practice
