Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced 3.5 tonne delivery driver to join our team at Zoom Recruitment. As a delivery driver, you will be responsible for delivering furniture and other household products to customers across London and the surrounding South East areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver furniture and other household products to customers in a 3.5T van
  • Work as part of a team to lift and manoeuvre heavy items of furniture
  • Provide excellent customer service skills and ensure a positive experience for customers
  • Manage your workload and associated paperwork efficiently
  • Be able to work well with others and have good communication skills

Requirements:

  • A valid UK driving licence with Cat B entitlement to drive a 3.5T van
  • Previous commercial driving experience in a 3.5t van vehicle
  • Ability to lift and manoeuvre heavy items of furniture with manual handling experience
  • Desirable experience of using a PDA
  • Preferable experience of doing 'home' deliveries
