Job Summary

Mavenir seeks a seasoned Software Architect to lead the design, development, and testing of real-time software systems and applications for software enhancements and new cellular radio-related products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define software architectures and develop key features to support radio development.
  • Liaise with key Systems/HW/FPGA/BSP/I&V/Test SMEs to ensure software architecture meets market requirements, is implementable within a given timeframe, and complies with Mavenir's process and product reuse goals.
  • Develop documents, code, scripts, and tools necessary to support SW product development.
  • Collaborate with global development teams, support, and chair meetings.
  • Drive SW development technical issues to closure and support debug of SW-related technical issues.

Requirements:

  • Over 10 years of experience in real-time software development, preferably within a telecoms environment (candidates not from a telecoms background will be considered where they can demonstrate relevance of their experience/skills in other industries).
  • Demonstratable SW skills within real-time SW environments in requirements definition/dissemination, architecture breakdown, code development, test of SW, SW lifecycle process, debug, tools, and SW support.
  • Able to demonstrate a background working in and with virtual teams.
  • Proficient in development, office, and communications tools necessary to perform the role.
