Job Overview:

Full Circle Wind Services is seeking a committed Wind Turbine Technician to enhance our team. As a vital member of our organization, you will focus on the upkeep and troubleshooting of onshore wind turbines, ensuring they operate at peak efficiency.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform regular inspections and maintenance on wind turbines in accordance with established protocols.
  • Identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, or technical challenges impacting turbine functionality.
  • Execute repairs or component replacements as necessary.
  • Keep comprehensive records of maintenance tasks and equipment conditions.
  • Engage in special initiatives such as commissioning and significant component replacements.
  • Stay informed about industry developments and technological innovations.

Client Interaction:

  • Maintain on-site communication with clients to inform them about the progress of maintenance tasks.

Safety and Quality Assurance:

  • Follow safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a secure working environment.
  • Uphold the quality of components and guarantee the effective operation of both electrical and mechanical systems.

Collaboration and Continuous Improvement:

  • Work alongside engineering and operational teams to enhance turbine performance.

Qualifications:

  • Possession of a valid driver's license.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with additional certification in wind turbine maintenance preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
  • Ability to work at heights and in diverse weather conditions.
  • Skilled in utilizing technical manuals and diagnostic equipment.
  • Dedication to safety protocols and procedures.
  • Experience in the maintenance of mechanical or electrical systems.
