About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team at Tiger Resourcing Group. As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical solutions for robot-based electromechanical systems for use in factory and process automation.

You will work collaboratively across departments to design safe and effective solutions for our clients. Your electrical knowledge and expertise will be relied upon to create innovative solutions that meet our clients' needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electrical solutions for robot-based electromechanical systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design safe and effective solutions
  • Use EPLAN electrical design software to create electrical schematics and layouts
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation in line with the company's product development process
  • Travel to client sites in the UK within the defence and aerospace sectors
Requirements
  • Degree/HND/HNC in electrical engineering or equivalent qualifications and experience
  • Previous experience in an electrical design role or a role that has required a reasonable degree of electrical design
  • Proficient in the creation of electrical schematics and layouts
  • EPLAN software experience
  • Ability to manage your own time and prioritize tasks based on high-level project milestones and objectives
  • Willingness to learn new technology and work to required standards
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Natural problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to drive in the UK
