Job Title: 7.5 Tonne Driver

Connect Driver Solutions is seeking a skilled 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our team. As a 7.5 Tonne Driver, you will be responsible for delivering high-end furniture across London and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate 7.5T vehicles safely and efficiently, as well as smaller vehicles on occasion
  • Perform regular vehicle checks to ensure safety and compliance
  • Comply with WTD, driver hours & rest periods
  • Provide a white glove service delivering high-end furniture to customers
  • Carry out site visits, checking access and suitability for furniture deliveries
  • Prepare lorry for furniture, including fitting timber shelving, placing furniture as required
  • Some joinery work may be required including assembling beds and fitting bases etc. at customer premises
  • Support London showroom site with general labouring and maintenance tasks
Requirements:
  • Valid CAT 1 licence/7.5T
  • Minimum 1 year's experience with Class 1 vehicles
  • Valid DQC and digital tacho cards
  • Route planning experience (desirable)
  • No more than six points on your licence, with no DD, CD, DR, IN, or TT codes accepted
