Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Process Engineering Manager/Validation Manager to join our team at ZipRecruiter. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing and reviewing process engineering tasks, challenging existing manufacturing processes to deliver process efficiencies, and providing project management for operations projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process Engineering Management: Manage, review, and take overall responsibility for all process engineering tasks, ensuring compliance with quality management processes and regulatory requirements.
- Process Improvement: Challenge existing manufacturing processes to deliver process efficiencies, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes to optimize production processes.
- Project Management: Provide project management for operations projects, ensuring timely completion, and effective resource allocation.
- Quality Management: Manage quality management processes, including CAPA and change control associated with production processes, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Documentation and Reporting: Draft specifications, packaging, feasibility studies, written validations, SOPs, and other documentation as required.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive proactive risk management and continuous improvement practices, including FMEA, Kaizen, and Lean methodologies, to maintain and improve production processes.
- Monitoring and Evaluation: Monitor the progress and effectiveness of efficiency improvements and regular visualization of production processes.
- Training and Development: Support production operator process training and implement appropriate statistical tools to maintain and improve production processes.
- Supplier Management: Liaise and manage equipment suppliers and contractors to ensure timely delivery and effective support.
- Experience and Skills: Experience in process scale-up, design transfer, and project management is essential for this role.
