Job Overview:
We are pleased to announce a contract opportunity for a Welding and NDT Inspector within the Nuclear Sector.

This role involves supervising welding and fabrication processes, ensuring adherence to quality standards, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the quality and safety of welding and fabrication operations.
  • Inspect welds for integrity and quality, confirming the appropriate equipment is utilized.
  • Ensure compliance with welding specifications and safety regulations.
  • Conduct random inspections at subcontractor locations to verify adherence to established standards.
  • Perform thorough evaluations of incoming materials to meet quality benchmarks.
  • Maintain exemplary workmanship throughout all phases of the contract.
  • Document findings and generate reports on supplier assessments and internal inspections.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum CSWIP 3.1 certification.
  • Advanced understanding of contemporary welding practices.
  • Exceptional communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Preferred: PCN Level 2 in NDT disciplines, specifically Penetrant Testing (PT) and Radiographic Testing (RT).

Contract Type:
6-month PAYE Contract with strong potential for permanent placement.

Compensation:
£33 per hour

Working Hours:
Full Time, Monday to Friday.
