**Job Title:** SEN Teaching Assistant

**Job Type:** Full-time, Temporary

**Location:** Boscombe

**About the Role:**

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at GSL Education. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with special educational needs in a local school.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Assist teachers in implementing behaviour management strategies to promote positive behaviour and a supportive learning environment.
  • Provide one-on-one support to students with behavioural challenges, using a patient and empathetic approach.
  • Collaborate with the school's SENCO and other professionals to create tailored intervention plans to meet the needs of students.
  • Support the overall well-being of students and contribute to a positive school ethos.

**Requirements:**

  • Relevant experience working with children or young people in an educational setting.
  • Understanding of behaviour management strategies and their application in a school environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A patient and empathetic approach to supporting students with diverse needs.
  • Relevant qualifications in education or psychology would be advantageous.
