We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to join our team at Office Angels. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing all Accounts Payable functions and ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a team of 4 and ensure the efficient operation of all Accounts Payable tasks.
- Develop and implement procedures and guidelines to ensure efficient processing and mitigate the risk of theft and fraud.
- Oversee internal controls to ensure compliance with Accounts Payable functions.
- Ensure equal distribution of work among the team and promptly respond to internal and external requests.
- Process electronic transfers and payments, review staff expenses, and conduct aged creditor reviews.
- Maintain, approve, and reconcile Accounts Payable transactions.
- Review and verify invoices, set them up for payment, and enter them into the financial system.
- Authorise payment runs and foster inclusive and respectful working relationships.
- Effective communication with co-workers and the wider accounts team.
- Ensure accurate posting of invoices to the correct GLs.
- Assist with testing for projects and upgrades.
- Identify opportunities for process efficiencies within the Accounts Payable function.
- Carry out adhoc tasks as required.
- Accounts payable qualification CAPP
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Accounts Payable Manager in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Professional attitude and ability to engage with people at all levels.
- Strong customer focus and good knowledge of Oracle-based systems.
- Proficiency in Excel and experience working across multiple Outlook inboxes.
- Leadership skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
- Highly numerate and accurate, with excellent attention to detail.
- Historic experience of using NetSuite.
- Service Industry Experience (Manpower).
