**Job Summary**

Daniel Owen Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Building Services Supervisor to join their team. As a key member of the facilities management team, you will be responsible for supervising the mechanical, electrical, and building trade staff, as well as specialist contractors.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Supervise and manage a team of trade staff and specialist contractors to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
  • Ensure the proper allocation of work and the completion of tasks in accordance with performance monitoring systems and client satisfaction.
  • Use the Maximo CAFM system to manage work orders, track progress, and maintain records.
  • Order materials and services as required, within agreed delegation levels, and certify satisfactory delivery and completion.
  • Monitor trade staff performance, time-keeping, and sickness in accordance with company policy.
  • Provide estimates for quoted works, site measurements, cost control information, and maintain necessary records for effective administration.
  • Undertake training and qualify as an Authorised Person and/or Competent Person as required.
  • Participate in a call-out rota system to assist the company in responding to emergency situations.

**Requirements**

  • Hold a recognised electrical or mechanical trade apprenticeship and/or relevant qualifications to level 3 (theory and practice) in a relevant electrical or mechanical discipline with suitable industry experience.
  • Have significant experience in a building services environment with comprehensive mechanical and electrical knowledge, ideally within a hospital environment.
  • Be a team player with supervisory/management experience and a client-focused approach to work.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and application of the various trade groups to be managed, including building works, mechanical, and electrical engineering.
  • Have good communication and customer service skills.
  • Able to obtain DBS clearance.
