We are currently seeking a Customer Service Representative for our Customer Service Hub, which serves as the initial point of contact for many of our clients.
The position entails addressing a diverse array of inquiries related to council services. While familiarity with these services is advantageous, it is not a prerequisite as comprehensive training will be provided. Inquiries are primarily received via telephone, with additional communication through email and social media channels. As we encourage our customers to transition towards digital communication methods, this is an exciting opportunity to influence our customer experience positively.
To ensure exceptional customer service, candidates should possess experience in a dynamic, customer-oriented or contact center environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with proficient IT capabilities, are essential. Candidates should exhibit outstanding customer care and call management skills, demonstrating accountability for their decisions and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team. A flexible work approach, prioritization skills, and a readiness to adapt and grow with the evolving service are also crucial.
An SVQ2/Higher/National 5 or an equivalent qualification is mandatory. A qualification in customer care is preferred.
Working Pattern:
Alternate Sat & Sun 8am - 4pm/ Sat & Sun - 4pm - midnight (14hrs per week)
