Your analytical mindset, patience, and meticulous attention to detail will be essential for success in this position. The Industrial Mechanic will be tasked with executing reactive, assigned, and preventative maintenance on all production and auxiliary equipment within the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble, disassemble, install, repair, and fabricate machinery and equipment as necessary to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and control issues, implementing corrective actions as required.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including WHMIS, rigging, hoisting, and electrical safety.
- Complete system support tasks, including fuse changes, contactor resets, and temperature controller adjustments.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including work orders, preventative maintenance records, and calibration forms.
- Execute scheduled preventative maintenance and work orders in a timely manner.
- Support onsite contractors as needed for maintenance or project activities.
- Provide on-call support as scheduled.
- Maintain tools, toolboxes, and work areas in a clean and organized manner.
- Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent is required.
- Completion of Tradesman and Qualification Act requirements.
- Previous experience as an industrial mechanic is preferred.
- Licensed by the Ministry of Skills and Development (433A) is preferred.
- Familiarity with shop tools, precision measurement instruments, technical manuals, and engineering drawings.
- Strong knowledge of workplace safety and safe lifting procedures.
- A solid electrical background would be an asset.
