Role Overview:

As a Principal Estate Strategy and Planning Specialist, you will spearhead the formulation of business cases for site infrastructure investments and renewals. Your role will involve generating comprehensive business cases to secure necessary capital funding while ensuring a thorough understanding of the capabilities being sponsored.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Direct the creation of business cases and associated documentation to support investment decisions.
  • Oversee the definition of problems, capture of requirements, and appraisal of options.
  • Manage individual renewal and investment proposals as directed by Estate Leads.
  • Uphold and promote high standards in environmental, safety, health, security, and quality practices while fostering teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Estate Leads in developing investment and renewal programs along with supporting plans.
  • Provide essential business case documentation, problem statements, requirements, and investment appraisal materials.
  • Conduct in-depth analyses of business data to aid decision-making for Estate Managers.
  • Hold delegated authority for changes in requirements authorization.
  • Contribute to the development of the Site Optimisation Strategy and Plan.

While not exhaustive, candidates should ideally demonstrate some of the following qualifications:

  • A degree in Engineering, Science, Business, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Experience in corporate strategy and business planning.
  • Proficient knowledge of investment appraisal analysis.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills across all organizational levels.
  • Familiarity with business management and planning cycles.
  • Proven experience in managing plans within complex investment environments.
  • A proactive approach with the ability to work independently.

All candidates must be prepared to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance for the role and be willing to work in designated areas.
