Senior Solution Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Solution Architect to join our team at Sanderson. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a crucial role in the migration of our finance systems to Workday.
This is a 6-month contract position that requires a deep understanding of finance processes and a strong technical expertise. You will be responsible for designing and implementing a robust, scalable, and secure solution that aligns with our company's strategic objectives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and implementing the architecture for the finance migration project
- Collaborating with finance, pension administration, and IT stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure the solution meets their needs
- Providing technical leadership and guidance to the project team
- Designing, overseeing, and implementing the integration of Workday with existing systems
- Identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies
- Creating and maintaining comprehensive architecture documentation
- Ensuring the quality and integrity of the solution through rigorous testing and validation processes
- Providing training and support to end-users and technical teams
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect with a focus on finance system implementation
- Strong understanding of architectural frameworks and best practices
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically
Desirable:
- Relevant certifications (e.g. TOGAF 9 certified, Certified Solutions Architect)
- Knowledge of Workday, including its architecture, integration capabilities, and best practices
