This role involves close collaboration with the Marketing Manager to foster the growth and evolution of the organisation and its brands, while also providing support to its international subsidiaries. The Communications Marketing Specialist will be responsible for the strategic planning, creation, and execution of communication content. This encompasses both digital and traditional marketing communications, as well as the development of promotional materials to bolster the division and its affiliates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulating and executing communication content that aligns with Group and Divisional strategies and goals.
- Crafting a compelling and engaging content calendar for social media platforms.
- Managing public relations initiatives, disseminating PR content, and liaising with external stakeholders.
- Overseeing the output of our divisional narrowcasting television system.
- Assisting in the production of corporate publications for the division.
- Providing support to subsidiaries and emerging markets with communication initiatives and materials.
- Taking charge of the creation and upkeep of promotional collateral.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Understanding of best practices for all relevant social media channels (Essential)
- Ability to effectively develop a multi-channel communication strategy (Essential)
- Experience in managing both online and offline communications and advertising (Essential)
- A minimum of 3 years in a comparable marketing position (Essential)
- Experience within the commercial automotive industry (Desirable)
- B2B marketing experience (Desirable)
- Proficient in current marketing tools such as CMS platforms, social media platforms, and email marketing automation systems (Essential)
- Professional qualification in Marketing or a related field (Desirable)
- Willingness and ability to travel within the UK and internationally on occasion (Essential)
