4Sure Recruitment Solutions Limited is excited to announce an opportunity for a highly experienced Senior Project Coordinator within the manufacturing and construction sectors of our client's operations.

Our client is a prominent player in the heavy engineering industry and is eager to receive applications from candidates with backgrounds in:

Ministry of Defence (MOD)
Petrochemical
Nuclear
Marine Engineering

Key Responsibilities:
Senior Project Coordinator

Manufacturing / Construction Sector
Act as the primary accountable owner for the relationship with key clients, including MOD and military contractors involved in new builds and manufacturing.
Foster collaboration and communication with fellow Project Coordinators and senior leadership team members.

Demonstrate ownership and accountability for assigned projects, ensuring the delivery of both technical and financial objectives while being supported by a cohesive team and closely collaborating with senior management.

Maintain high standards in Design, Engineering, and Quality Assurance.

Oversee project-wide Estimating processes, addressing all facets such as technical development, supply chain management, risk assessment, and scope variations.

Serve as the senior representative in client meetings, addressing all project-related matters across various levels of the client organization.
Act as the interface between Production, Technical, and Quality departments to ensure effective project oversight, visibility, and control.
Lead the project team and manage the supply chain to achieve project timelines, cost efficiency, and quality benchmarks.
Represent the organization as the first point of contact for commercial project matters.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within project management practices.

Candidate Qualifications:
Senior Project Coordinator

Manufacturing / Construction Sector
Proven experience in leading projects from inception to completion, encompassing Estimating, Technical, Financial, and Stakeholder Management.

Familiarity with the procedures and processes prevalent in shipyards, along with knowledge of shipyard trade skills and their scopes of work.

Demonstrated commercial awareness and experience in collaborating with clients' quantity surveyors.
Knowledge of current maritime industry legislation is advantageous.
Proven expertise in estimating projects within a heavy engineering context.
Preferred experience with MOD single source contracting and SSRO requirements.
Ability to build and expand project teams to meet evolving demands.
Maintain proactive working relationships while developing the project team.
