Key Responsibilities

Due to ongoing project growth, our client is looking for a proficient Chemical Process Technician to become part of a dedicated team of process experts. In this role, you will oversee and enhance all manufacturing operations.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Retrieving, measuring, and combining chemical components.
  • Monitoring machinery throughout the chemical production process and documenting data to ensure quality, safety, and efficiency.
  • Contributing to process and product enhancements by sharing insights during production.
  • Collaborating with team members to develop optimal processes and products.
Working Conditions

Holiday Entitlement: 28 days, inclusive of bank holidays.

Company Benefits

Pension Scheme: The company contributes 3%, while employees contribute 5%.

Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and quality standards during batch manufacturing operations.

Manufacture products according to the specifications outlined in the formulation batch sheet, promptly reporting any deviations to the relevant parties.

Immediately notify management of any incidents using the designated reporting systems.

Perform Forklift Truck Operator duties as required (subject to licensing).

Monitor raw material needs and inform supervisors when finished products are ready for warehouse transfer.

Maintain a clean and organized workplace.

Follow manufacturing instructions diligently.

Qualifications

Essential qualifications include:

  • Forklift truck license.
  • Level 2 Maths (GCSE grade C or above).
  • Experience in a chemical or process-oriented industry.
  • Understanding of chemical processes and product testing.
  • Ability to troubleshoot production equipment and processes.
