Job Title: Biology Teacher

Vetro Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and experienced Biology Teacher to join our team in a secondary school in Cardiff. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a strong ability to engage learners in Key Stage 3 and 4.

Job Summary:
  • Teach Biology to Key Stage 3 and 4 students
  • Deliver lessons in line with national curriculum
  • Prepare the classroom for lessons and plan schemes of work where required
  • Engage learners with both classroom and lab-based activities
Requirements:
  • At least 1 year science teaching experience (exceptions made for NQTs)
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status or overseas equivalent
  • Registration as a Teacher with the EWC (the Education Workforce Council) - we can help you with this
  • References covering the last two years (no gaps)
  • Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one
  • The right to work in the UK
