Minibus Driver Required

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Minibus Driver to join our Transportation Team in Hertford. As a Minibus Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting pupils to and from school, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive the minibus to pick up and drop off pupils at designated points, adhering to a strict schedule.
  • Conduct regular checks on the minibus to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Complete mileage records and report any faults or damage to the Operations Manager.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication channels with other team members and stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively with the Transport Department to ensure the smooth operation of the minibus service.
Requirements:
  • Full UK Driving License with categories D or D1.
  • Good general level of education (GCSE or Above).
  • Experience of driving a coach or minibus desirable.
  • Ability to drive in built-up areas and country roads.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Personal Attributes:
  • Ability to work in a way that promotes the safety and wellbeing of children and young people.
  • Well-organized with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to work unsupervised and use own initiative.
  • Willingness to work flexibly when required.
