At Quest Global Engineering, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Stress Engineer to join our Aerospace and Defense project team based in the United Kingdom.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform stress analysis of assigned components using advanced techniques such as friction at interfaces, elastic/plastic modeling, and fatigue analysis.
  • Collaborate with support functions to ensure seamless integration of stress analysis with other engineering disciplines.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in stress analysis software such as ANSYS Mechanical APDL and Workbench, as well as meshing applications like Hypermesh and UG NX.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to the team on stress analysis best practices and emerging customer demands.

Requirements:

  • 15+ years of experience in gas turbine design and analysis, with a strong background in stress analysis and fatigue modeling.
  • Education in an engineering discipline (mechanical, aerospace/aeronautical, manufacturing) or equivalent.
  • Proven expertise in stress analysis software and meshing applications.
