Parts Assistant Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and organized Parts Assistant to join our team at Purely Recruitment Solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing stock levels, and ensuring the smooth operation of our parts department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent customer service to customers in person and over the phone, responding to their queries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of stock levels, including ordering and receiving parts, and ensuring that all stock is properly stored and secured.
  • Process and manage warranty claims, ensuring that all necessary documentation is completed and submitted in a timely manner.
  • Issue personal protective equipment (PPE) to staff, ensuring that all employees have the necessary safety gear to perform their duties.
  • Resolve invoice queries, sort returns to suppliers, and chase credits for returned items.
  • Contribute to the daily and weekly husbandry of the parts department and parts storage areas, ensuring that all areas are clean, organized, and secure.
  • Support the promotion of the company in a positive way to enhance parts sales and growth opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of inventory management systems.
