Audit Director

We are seeking an experienced Audit Director to join our team at BDO. As a key member of our audit team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients across various sectors, including charities, housing, and education.

Your primary responsibility will be to deliver high-quality audits that meet the needs of our clients and stakeholders. This includes ensuring that our risk management and quality control procedures are adhered to at all times.

4. Support Partners with the implementation and communication of new business.
5. Recruit, retain, develop, and motivate employees, including participating in graduate recruitment and ensuring job appraisal documentation is completed within deadlines.
6. Work as part of the management team with other Audit Managers within the business group.
7. Act as an ambassador of the firm and participate in office marketing events.
8. Act as a role model for trainees and executives.

1. ACA/ICAS qualified or overseas equivalent.
2. Good working knowledge of UK and International GAAS, IFRS, UK GAAP, and Financial Reporting requirements.
3. Working knowledge of financial products, firm services, issues regarding advice and regulation, and compliance, including anti-money laundering.
4. Experience of systems/controls testing as well as substantive auditing, including consolidations, group audits, statutory accounts, and disclosures.
5. Project Management experience.
