Electrical Design Engineer Job Description

To drive innovation and excellence in electrical design, we seek a highly skilled Electrical Design Engineer to join our team at Unique Group. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for creating and implementing electrical designs that meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop electrical systems and circuits for various applications, including industrial and commercial projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical designs with other systems and components.
  • Conduct thorough analysis and testing of electrical designs to ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, schematics, and installation manuals.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in electrical design and technology.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in electrical design and commissioning, with a background in industrial maintenance.
  • High level of technical competency in electrical engineering design and analysis.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, under pressure, and manage multiple tasks.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with AutoCAD electrical software and other design tools.
  • Knowledge of relevant codes and standards, including ASME, ABS, DNV, LRS, IMCA, IMO, etc.
  • Understanding of electrical process control and automation systems.
