We are seeking to appoint Academic Support Facilitators to aid in the teaching, learning, and progression of students with additional educational requirements, particularly those with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and those receiving Special Educational Needs (SEN) support.
Ideal candidates should possess strong qualifications, including commendable GCSE results in English and Mathematics at grades C or 4 and above, alongside additional notable GCSE and/or A Level achievements (or equivalent) in other subjects.
It is advantageous for applicants to hold a degree with good honors or other higher education qualifications, as well as Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Teaching Assistant qualifications.

Academic Support Facilitators who choose this path will receive support in their applications for PGCE and Schools Direct training programs.
The working hours are 31.33 per week, from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM (with adjusted hours on Thursdays and Fridays) during term time, plus two Inset Training days. Additional paid overtime may be available for attending necessary meetings and supervising various student activities.
