LGV Driver Needed for Transport Operations

DPD Group UK is seeking a skilled and experienced Class 1 LGV Driver to join our dedicated Transport team. In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient and timely transportation of goods across the UK, ensuring customer satisfaction at every stage.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Conducting bulk collections and deliveries between DPD sites and various customer locations nationwide.
  • Operating a modern fleet of HGV vehicles, adhering to all safety regulations and driving best practices.
  • Following agreed shift patterns for deliveries to designated HGV-friendly locations.
  • Performing trailer swaps or live unloading/reloading as required based on customer specifications.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Valid UK Class 1 Driving Licence with a proven track record of safe driving.
  • Minimum of 12 months of demonstrable experience operating Class 1 vehicles.
  • Possession of a valid UK CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card.
  • Ability to efficiently load and unload trailers as required, demonstrating physical capability and attention to detail.
