Job Description

Senior DevOps Engineer (Kubernetes EKS AWS Linux)


We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team at Client Server. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in introducing new technology to improve the speed, efficiency, and reliability of our core platform.


About the Role

You will be responsible for:

  • Introducing new technology to improve the speed, efficiency, and reliability of our core platform
  • Tuning existing tools to improve developer experience with a focus on the automation of development and deployment processes (CI/CD)
  • Seeking to make continual improvements and drive the adoption of Infrastructure as Code practices working with a wide range of technologies


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience with production AWS cloud technology deployments with a good understanding of security best practices
  • Strong Kubernetes, EKS, Rancher experience
  • Strong knowledge of Virtualisation / VMWare
  • Experience with production monitoring and alerting of microservice based environments
  • Strong knowledge of Linux and associated scripting languages (Python, bash, PowerShell)
  • Experience with a wide range of tools and technologies including Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Octopus, ELK, CloudWatch, Prometheus and Grafana
  • Collaborative communication skills
