Warehouse Operative

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operator to join our team at HR GO Recruitment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Picking and Packing: Accurately pick and pack products according to order specifications, ensuring timely and efficient order fulfillment.
- Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload vans and lorries, handling items with care to prevent damage.
- Operate PPT and FLT Counterbalance: Efficiently operate Powered Pallet Trucks (PPT) and Forklift Trucks (FLT) with a Counterbalance license, maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment.
- Stock Taking: Conduct regular stock takes to ensure inventory accuracy, identifying and addressing any discrepancies.
- Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the warehouse clean and organized, adhering to health and safety regulations and company standards.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth warehouse operations, providing support and assistance as needed.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment, with a strong understanding of inventory management and logistics.
- Valid PPT and FLT Counterbalance licenses, with a proven ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks, with a focus on maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and management.
- Basic computer skills for inventory management, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and processes.
