Cobalt is seeking a highly skilled and experienced CT Radiographer to join our team as a Mobile Imaging Specialist. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality CT imaging services to patients across the country.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out day-to-day scanning on Cobalt's mobile CT units, supporting a wide range of CT examinations, including lung cancer screening.
- Ensure a safe, reliable, and efficient CT service is maintained, adhering to best practice of radiographic technique.
- Undertake modality-specific imaging procedures efficiently and effectively for all patients.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and technical standard of work, complying with relevant Codes of Practice.
- Support the Superintendent CT Radiographer with the organization of all maintenance of mobile CT scanners, radiology, and peripheral equipment.
- Participate in governance activities, audits, personal development, and team meetings.
- Highly specialist knowledge of all CT-specific procedures.
- Ability to undertake supervised imaging procedures in line with existing modality-specific clinical guidelines and protocols.
- Proficiency in all aspects of CT and image transfer for remote reporting, where required.
- Ability to manipulate and position all patients, providing immobilization when required.
- Experience in handling and operating highly specialized and expensive equipment.
- Ability to evaluate any imaging equipment malfunctions during an examination and provide an immediate solution.
- Maintain professional competencies and CPD.
