About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Operations Manager to join our team at Boskalis. As a Project Operations Manager, you will play a critical role in the daily management of vessels, ensuring that all projects are executed on-time, within scope, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate Internal Resources: Work closely with internal teams and third-party vendors to ensure successful execution of mobilizations, project delivery, and demobilization.
  • Ensure Project Delivery: Oversee the delivery of vessel-related projects, ensuring that they are completed on-time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Define Project Scope and Objectives: Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope and objectives, ensuring technical feasibility and alignment with company expectations.
  • Develop Mobilization Plans: Create detailed mobilization plans to monitor and track progress, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and aligned.
  • Manage Changes: Effectively manage changes to vessel requirements, schedule, and project costs, using appropriate change management techniques.
  • Measure Project Performance: Monitor and measure project performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and objectives.
  • Manage Stakeholder Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring that all potential risks are addressed and managed.
Requirements
  • Education: Degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline, such as project management, logistics, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in project management, commercial, logistical, and/or financial roles, preferably in a marine or survey industry.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, project management qualifications (APM/Prince II), and experience working in an offshore discipline.
  • Travel: Ability to travel at short notice, as required.
