Senior Fire Protection Engineer

Amazon is seeking an experienced Fire Protection Engineer to lead design, facility, and engineering activities within our Fulfillment Network across Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA).

This role will be located in Luxembourg with occasional travel. Reporting directly to the Global Realty Engineering Manager in Luxembourg, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and cross-functionally managing fire protection engineering programs aimed at optimizing and enhancing the safety and efficiency of both existing and new facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage fire protection engineering programs to optimize safety and efficiency
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to drive the development and management of fire protection design specifications
  • Track key metrics and performance, and function as a consulting SME to stakeholders
  • Build a business case and market improvements, and work across the industry to understand trends and develop scalable technologies
Requirements
  • Experience in technical product or program management
  • Experience working directly with engineering teams
  • Experience in software development
  • Experience in technical program management working directly with software engineering teams
  • Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
